How do I give the app permission to access my calendar?

When you first try to save an event, iOS will ask for calendar permission. Tap "Allow" to grant access. If you accidentally denied permission:

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars
Find "Text to Calendar" in the list
Toggle the switch to enable access
Restart the app

Why isn't my text being parsed correctly?

The AI parser works best with clear, natural language. Try these tips:

Include specific dates: "tomorrow at 2pm" instead of "later"
Use clear time formats: "2:00 PM" or "2pm"
Include location with "at" or "@": "at Starbucks" or "@ my office"
Try the sample examples in the app first

Can I create recurring events?

Yes! The app supports recurring events in two ways:

Automatic detection: Use phrases like "every Friday" or "daily meeting"
Manual selection: After parsing, tap to edit and select recurrence options

Supported patterns: Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Yearly

Where do my events get saved?

Events are saved directly to your iOS Calendar app. They appear in:

Your default calendar (usually "Personal")
The Calendar app on your iPhone/iPad
Any connected calendars (iCloud, Google, etc.)

How do I view or delete events I've created?

Tap the calendar icon in the top-right corner of the app
View all events created by the app
Swipe left on any event to delete it

Note: Deleted events are permanently removed from your calendar

Is my data private and secure?

Absolutely! Text to Calendar is privacy-first:

All text processing happens on your device
No data is sent to external servers
We don't collect or store your personal information
Only calendar access is requested (and only when you save events)

Why do I see ads in the app?

Text to Calendar is free to use and supported by advertisements. The ads help us keep the app free while maintaining privacy. We use Google AdMob for ad delivery, which follows industry privacy standards.

What devices and iOS versions are supported?

iPhone: iOS 17.0 and later
iPad: iPadOS 17.0 and later
Compatibility: All iPhone and iPad models that support iOS 17+

Calendar Permission Issues

Problem: App says "Calendar access denied" or events don't appear

Solution:

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars
Find "Text to Calendar" and enable access
Restart the app
Try creating an event again

Solution:
